Latta, SC Staff Nurse - Med / Surg

MLR is partnering with a highly regarded healthcare system in South Carolina to hire a full-time, day-shift Staff Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) Unit. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and skilled nurse to provide comprehensive care in a dynamic hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct Patient Care: Perform assessments, administer medications, provide wound care, and monitor patient progress.
Care Coordination: Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans.
Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, post-operative care, and discharge instructions.
Documentation: Ensure accurate documentation of patient care in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Patient Safety: Maintain clear communication with patients and families to ensure safety and satisfaction.
Multitasking: Manage multiple patients, respond to changes in condition, and prioritize care as needed.
Support Unit Operations: Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers within the unit.

Qualifications:

Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Med/Surg or acute care setting.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
